Hi! My name is Jarilyn Hernández. I'm a Technical Staff at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. I have a PhD in Computer Science from West Virginia University. I received my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Puerto Rico Arecibo Campus. As an undergraduate student I had the opportunity to participate in a summer internship at the University of Science and Technology in Missouri, where I worked in the development of a robot that could measure the signal strength indoors. As an undergraduate student I was awarded with the SMART scholarship for two years. I also have a Master Degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. As a master student I received for two years the National Science Foundation Scholarship, and I also received a fellowship called Nuclear Education Fellowship Program in which I was working as a research and teacher assistant. My research interests are computer security (malware detection), computer forensics, cyber-physical infrastructure, and cyber warfare.
